Deputies Investigating Incident in Worden

NEW INFORMATION: Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder, tells KULR-8 the suspect shot by a deputy in Friday morning's incident has died. He also tells KULR-8 the body found at the scene is that of an adult female.

Yellowstone County Sheriff's Deputies were on the scene of an early-morning incident in Worden Friday.

The sheriff's department reports that around 2:30, deputies were dispatched for a report of suspicious activity in the alley behind the 406 Bar in Worden. Upon arrival, deputies located a vehicle and male driver.

Deputies say that while they were speaking to the man, he produced a firearm. They drew their service weapons and shots were fired. The suspect was hit, and was taken to a Billings hospital.

Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office Investigators also report finding a body on the scene, and are investigating the incident as a homicide.

No more information is being released at this time.
