Hill Climb Canceled

BILLINGS -

Promoters say more than 200 motorcycle riders traveled from all over the U.S. and Canada to take part in the Big Sky Challenge Pro Hill Climb, but they all were forced to forfeit and miss out on the $37,000 purse.

The three-day Hill Climb was canceled because of the rainy conditions. Organizers determined the Hill Climb Challenge was unsafe for riders.

Riders will have another opportunity here in Billings, though. July 26th will bring the Great American 95th Championship Motorcycle Hill Climb. Many of the motorcycle riders that were in town this weekend, will return for the race at the end of July for day and night races.
