Billings College Students are celebrating in full force Saturday, as many seniors are taking that step out into the real world.
This is Rocky Mountain College's 131st Commencement Ceremony.
"I am super excited, it's been a long four years and it's just finally coming to an end and feels real now that we're waiting to go on stage. I did my internship here and it turned into a job and so I'm really excited to have a job right out of college," said Esther Timofeye, who just graduated from Rocky with her degree in Psychology.
And just a few miles away from Rocky Mountain College, MSU-Billings seniors celebrated as they graduated Saturday. MSU-B held their 86th Annual Commencement Ceremony at the Rimrock Auto Arena where many students proudly walked across the stage with their diploma in hand.
"I was able to be involved in school on campus and it opened up so many opportunities for me and now that I got an internship with the Rays, it's just like, I am so thankful that I came to MSU-B. I feel like it opened up the opportunity for me," said Alayna Lacher, who graduated with her degree in Public Relations and will be doing an internship with the Tampa Bay Rays.
"Just being able to graduate with my friends and all that was really special. And graduating from a school that I started out as a freshman, and found myself and grew up a lot, so I wouldn't miss the opportunity to walk today, for sure," said Aaron Stucker, who received his degree in Biology.
At MSU-B, degrees received included Associates, Bachelors, and Masters.
