The fight for control over Stillwater Mining Company could end on Thursday.
Shareholders of the company will meet on Thursday, at 2 p.m., to decide the current board's fate. The current board could remain, or the Clinton Group, along with former Governor Brian Schweitzer, will take over.
In a statement released Wednesday, Stillwater Mining Company said it offered 1.3% share to the Clinton Group as a settlement to end the fight. According to the statement, Clinton Group declined the offer.
