BILLINGS - It's official, The University of Nevada, Las Vegas named Bobby Hauck as their head football coach Wednesday.

Hauck and UNLV agreed to a three-year contract that will pay the coach $350,000 dollars annually, with incentives for winning and helping student athletes graduate.

The former Griz coach takes over a team that hasn't had a winning season since 2000. Hauck said he's excited to be a Rebel and wants to generate enthusiasm for the program.

"I really believe that UNLV and its football program have a bright future and I'm enthused about being the figure head who gets a chance to lead that program."

Hauck posted an 80-17 record during his seven seasons with Montana and took the Griz to three FCS championship games.
