Delaney named assistant football coach at Montana

MISSOULA - Montana football coach Bobby Hauck has named Mick Delaney the new running backs coach for the Grizzlies.

Delaney is a Butte native who has been running backs coach at Colorado State for the past 14 years. He has also coached at Montana Western, been an athletics director at Montana Tech and an assistant coach at both Montana and Montana State. Delaney worked for coach Sonny Lubick at both Montana State and Colorado State.

Hauck calls Delaney an outstanding addition to the staff. He has already started his coaching duties with the Grizzlies. Delaney replaces Mike Hudson as running backs coach for the Griz. Hudson will now coach the secondary, after Tim Hauck left to take a similar position at UCLA.
