Carroll volleyball signs middle blocker from Fairfield University

HELENA - Carroll College volleyball coach Maureen Boyle has announced the signing of 6-foot-2 middle blocker Kayla Hughes of NCAA Division I Fairfield University.

Hughes has three years of eligibility remaining with the Saints. Hughes played at Jesuit High School in Portland, Ore., which had a regular season record of 56-0 during her four-year career. The team won the state championship once and was runner-up once.

Boyle says Hughes has a genuine passion for volleyball.
