Medicine Hat athlete signs with Argos

GREAT FALLS - An athlete from Medicine Hat, Alberta, has signed an NAIA/Frontier Conference letter of intent to join the University of Great Falls men's basketball team.

Coach Steve Silsby says 6-foot-3 guard Dallas Holyk will join the Argos for the 2008-09 season. Holyk averaged 13.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game this past season at Medicine Hat High School. He also was selected to the Southern Alberta All-Star Team.

Holyk was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, and has dual citizenship in the United States and Canada.
