Miles City basketball player signs with Saints

By The Associated Press

HELENA - A guard from Miles City has signed a letter of intent to join the women's basketball team at Carroll College.

Coach Shawn Nelson announced the signing of Torrie Cahill on Monday. As a senior, the 5-foot-10 Cahill averaged 18 points per game and led her team to a third place finish at the Class A state tournament.

The three-time all-conference, all-state and all-state tournament team selection was named MVP of the Hi-Line Invitational Tournament as the Class A team won the tournament. She also was named to the Eastern Montana All-Star Team and the Montana/Wyoming All-Star Team.

In addition, Cahill competed in track for four seasons and was all-conference in cross-country as freshman and sophomore.
