Western football signs four in-state players

DILLON - Montana Western football coach Rich Ferris has announced the signing of four in-state players.

Those signing with the Bulldogs are Helena Capital wide receiver Seth Long; Ronan wide receiver Makenzy Kelch along with lineman Keith Bryant and linebacker and tight end Josh Anderson, who both played at Frenchtown.

Long caught 20 passes for 197 yards, rushed 18 times for 102 yards and scored a total of seven touchdowns as a senior. He was a member of Capital's 2006 and 2007 state Class AA championship teams. Kelch earned honorable mention all-conference honors and academic all-state honors.

Bryant recorded 66 tackles as a senior while Anderson recorded 57 tackles and caught five passes, rushed for 101 yards and scored three touchdowns.
