Idaho State defeats Montana Western 32-3

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Kyle Morris threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns to lead Idaho State to a 32-3 victory over Montana Western Saturday in the Bengals' season opener.

Morris, who was making his first collegiate start, connected with Roderick Rumble for a 49-yard score just 18 seconds into the game. Morris was 18 for 27 with one interception and was sacked five times.

Corey White carried the ball 15 times for 122 yards and Jahmel Rover finished with 90 yards rushing for the Bengals, who matched their victory total from all of last season.

Idaho State finished the night with 411 yards of total offense while Montana Western (0-2) of the NAIA had 158 yards.

Zach McRae was 20 of 31 for 132 yards for the Bulldogs but was intercepted once.
