9 students taken to hospital after bus accident

CASPER, WYOMING - Police say nine students were taken to the Wyoming Medical Center for examination after a car struck the front of the school bus they were on.

Authorities say four of the students were transported to the hospital in an ambulance but no one was seriously injured. Casper police say the accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near Centennial Junior High.

Police say the accident happened when a high school student drove his car in front of the bus and struck its right front bumper. The high school driver was not taken to the hospital.
