CHEYENNE, WYOMING - Jennifer Cruz with the Cheyenne Job Corps office says the group has seen a big jump in activity and interest amid the Great Recession.

Cruz says there's been no problem recruiting 16- to 24-year-olds into the program, which allows them to earn a high school equivalency diploma and get job training and certification. But she says it's been tough finding jobs for them once they complete the program.

Still, even with the troubled economy, Cruz says she's been able to place 95% of her students.
