CASPER, WYOMING - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department warns the public that flows will increase in the North Platte River below Gray Reef Reservoir next week. The game department says flushing the river channel will help trout.

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation will start increasing flows early Monday, March 22.

Flows will rise from the current level of 500 cubic feet per second and reach a peak of 4,000 cubic feet per second between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. The flow will then be reduced later in the day. The flushing will occur on that schedule every day through Friday, March 26.
