LARAMIE, WYOMING - The University of Wyoming has completed its largest fundraising campaign for athletics facilities in school history.

UW Athletics Director Tom Burman says the university raised $38 million to finance new athletics facilities and improvements. Half the money came from private donors and the other half from matching funds provided by the state Legislature.

Among the projects being funded are improvements to War Memorial Stadium, the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex for Soccer and Track and Field and the UniWyo Sports Complex for Volleyball and Wrestling.
