Sweetwater may save money by cutting memberships

GREEN RIVER, WYOMING - Sweetwater County commissioners are looking at saving money by dropping county memberships in some organizations.

For instance, they are considering not renewing the county's membership in the Energy Minerals Counties Coalition. Commissioners questioned whether membership in the coalition and other organizations are worth the money it costs to join.

The commission instructed county officials to review the issue and report back in April.
