CHEYENNE, WYOMING - Construction of a new interchange on Interstate 25, about five miles north of the Colorado border, is under way and crews expect to finish it by early autumn.

The interchange will provide access to the planned Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center and Wyoming State Tourism offices.

Construction of those facilities is scheduled to start next year.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says the new interchange will include a two-lane bridge over I-25 with on- and off ramps in both directions.
