BLM sets sale of wild horses in northern Wyoming

POWELL, WYOMING - Horse lovers will have the opportunity to adopt a wild horse from the McCullough Peaks Herd Management Area in northern Wyoming.

The Bureau of Land Management is hosting a wild horse adoption at the Northwest College Agriculture Pavilion in Powell on April 9 and 10. About 30 wild horses in a wide variety of colors and in various stages of training by the Mantle Ranch in Wheatland and inmates at the Wyoming Honor Farm will be available.

In addition to McCullough Peaks horses, a few horses from the Fifteen mile management area near Worland will also be available.
