ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING - Three men have been arrested and charged after police say nearly $37,000 in merchandise was stolen from a jewelry store in a Rock Springs mall.

Police Sgt. Ken Lorimer says two men went into Samuels Jewelers Monday evening and after browsing for a bit, they forced open a jewelry case and left with the contents.

Later that night, Wyoming Highway Patrol officers arrested three men after determining they were in a car that had been reported stolen. Police say the stolen jewelry was found inside the car.

Twenty-three-year-old Dexter Bernal, 21-year-old Travis Hayner and 32-year-old Anthony Daley, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., were arraigned in Rawlins Circuit Court on Thursday.
