GREEN RIVER, WYOMING - A jury has acquitted a Rock Springs woman accused of attempted murder charges, instead finding her guilty of aggravated assault and battery.

Twenty-six-year-old Gloria Lynn Landeroz was charged after prosecutors said she took part in a drive-by shooting on May 17, 2009.

A jury heard more than four days of testimony and deliberated for about 15 hours before reaching a verdict on Tuesday. The jurors acquitted Landeroz of first-degree attempted murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder.

They also deadlocked on an attempted manslaughter charge, and a mistrial was declared on that count.

Landeroz faces up to 10 years in prison on the aggravated assault and battery conviction.
