CHEYENNE, WYOMING - A Cheyenne man who police say shook his 7-month-old daughter after her crying disrupted his video game playing has been charged with felony aggravated child abuse responsible for physical injury.

Twenty-one-year-old Robert T. Scott was charged Monday in Laramie County Circuit Court.

Authorities say doctors at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center notified police at 2:48 a.m. Saturday after determining the girl had a brain bleed.

Cheyenne Police Detective Sgt. Rick Wood says the girl is being treated at Children's Hospital in Denver.

Police say Scott shook the girl and dropped her in her crib, and when he later returned she was rigid and unconscious.

Scott was being held on $30,000 bond at the Laramie County Jail.
