CASPER, WYOMING - A Natrona County District judge has sentenced a 24-year-old Casper man to between six and nine years in prison for sexual abuse of a minor and delivery of marijuana.

Manuel Nikolas Sambrano pleaded guilty to the two counts in October; in exchange, prosecutors dropped five other charges.

Investigators said Sambrano had sex with two girls, ages 16 and 13, and that he gave them marijuana.

Judge Thomas Sullins handed down the sentenced Wednesday, but said Sullins could be given a lesser sentence if he successfully completes a prison boot camp program.
