CODY, WYOMING - Eleutian Technology has announced it will move its headquarters from Ten Sleep to Cody.

James Klessens of Forward Cody says the company will have a total of 40 positions in Cody with an average wage topping $50,000. Klessens told city officials that some company employees are house shopping in Cody.

Eleutian teaches English to Asian students via the Internet. It has outgrown its office in Ten Sleep and cannot expand there. The Cody Enterprise reports that one of the requirements of the move is putting together a Wyoming Business Council application to build a new office building for the firm.

The deadline for the application is Dec. 1. Klessens said he's confident Forward Cody can put together an application in time.
