GREEN RIVER, WYOMING - The Sweetwater County Commission has expressed a lack of confidence in the county attorney's office.

The commission voted 2-1 Monday to send County Attorney Brett Johnson and Deputy County Attorney Clifford Boevers a letter saying it did not have confidence in their ability to represent the commission competently in civil actions.

It noted a lack of timely response on matters, lack of due diligence, obstructive behavior and conflicting opinions. Johnson says a county attorney's ethical duties prevent him from commenting on the commission's accusations.
