RIVERTON, WYOMING - A Riverton dentist convicted of prescription drug charges is now prohibited from practicing in the state.

In a settlement agreement with the Wyoming Board of Dental Examiners, Daniel E. Hauck voluntarily surrendered his license for discipline as an alternative to revocation of his license.

Hauck was recently sentenced to nearly three years in prison for conspiracy to illegally dispense two addictive painkillers and for making false statements.
