Wyoming Guard holding meetings to update residents

CHEYENNE, WYOMING - The Wyoming National Guard is holding meetings in Cheyenne, Laramie and Torrington this week to update local residents on deployments and other operations.

Maj. Gen. Ed Wright will lead the meetings. The meetings will include chances for participants to ask questions via live Internet communications with deployed commanders and soldiers.

Wright's briefings are scheduled for Tuesday at the Raper Armory in Cheyenne, Wednesday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie and Thursday at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington.

Representatives of Wyoming Guard family programs will be available starting at 6 p.m., followed by Wright's briefing at 7 p.m.

Similar meetings have already been held in Gillette, Sheridan, Casper, Cody and Lander.
