SHERIDAN, WYOMING - Three Sheridan County teens have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges in the home invasion killing of a businessman.

Nineteen-year-old Dennis Poitra Jr., 16-year-old Wyatt Bear Cloud and 16-year-old Dharminder Vir Sen entered their pleas Tuesday during separate arraignments before District Judge John Fenn.

The three are accused of breaking into a Sheridan home on Aug. 26 and shooting the homeowner, Robert Ernst. Police say the burglary netted $31. Each also is charged with aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.

They are being tried as adults and their trials have been scheduled for next March. However, a hearing will be held beforehand on whether the two 16-year-olds will be tried together or separately. They remain in custody.
