Grand Teton roads to close for winter

JACKSON, WYOMING - Grand Teton National Park plans to close two roads for the winter season at the end of October.

The closure will include all of Teton Park Road between Taggart Lake parking area and the Signal Mountain Lodge parking lot. It will also include the Moose-Wilson Road between Granite Canyon and Death Canyon trailheads. The closure will start on Friday evening, Oct. 31.

In addition, the park entrance stations at Moose, Moran and Granite Canyon will close for the month of November and early December. They will reopen on Dec. 15 for the winter season.
