JACKSON, WYOMING - An international panel of 127 brewing experts has awarded three medals to Snake River Brewing Co. in Jackson.

Judges at the Great American Beer Festival last weekend in Denver gave a gold medal to the brewery's Rolling Thunder Dortmunder and bronze medals to Guido's Kolnerbrau and OB-1. The three concoctions were up against almost 3,000 other entries from 472 breweries nationwide. Judges awarded medals in 75 categories.

Snake River head brewer Cory Buenning said the recognition shows that the Jackson Hole has world-class beers.
