CASPER, WYOMING - An execution date has been set for Wyoming's only death row inmate.

Dale Wayne Eaton is set to be put to death before sunrise on Dec. 19. However, future appeals will most likely push back the date. A jury in March 2004 sentenced Eaton to die for the murder of 18-year-old Lisa Marie Kimmell. She disappeared in 1988 while driving from Colorado to her hometown of Billings He body was found floating in the North Platte River eight days later.

Eaton was charged with the murder in 2003 when prosecutors used DNA evidence to link him to the crime. The state Supreme Court recently rejected an appeal by Eaton.
