CASPER, WYOMING - A judge has dismissed charges of aggravated vehicular homicide against two men in connection with a fatal truck race last month.

Circuit Judge Steven Brown on Wednesday ruled that Corey Campbell caused his own death. Police say Campbell died Aug. 8 when he drove his truck off the road while racing from one Casper bar to another. Authorities say he had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.

Prosecutors had alleged that 23-year-old Donald Walsh was racing with Campbell and had charged him with aggravated vehicular homicide. Dennis Norris, 21, also was charged with aiding and abetting vehicular homicide for allowing Walsh to drive his truck.
