CASPER, WYOMING - The Wyoming Department of Education says parents of school children should be aware of an error in the printed results of a student testing program.

Some parents have already received results of the state's 2008 Proficiency Assessment for Wyoming Students testing program. The scores for the expository and expressive writing segments of the test were reversed on the reports.

The education department has sent a memo to all schools in the state telling them to destroy all reports not already sent to parents. Schools will receive corrected reports in September.
