CHEYENNE, WYOMING - Two potential candidates for the state Legislature garnered enough write-in votes in the Wyoming primary to participate in the general election.

The Secretary of State's Office says Republican Glenn Moniz and Democrat Neil Harrison each recieved at least 25 write-in votes, the requirement to qualify for nomination. The two have five days to formally accept the nomination, according to state law.

Moniz would face Democrat Jim Thompson in the general election for the seat representing House District 46, which includes Laramie and areas south to the state line. Harrison would face Republican Sen. Phil Nicholas for the seat representing Senate District 10, which includes Laramie and Albany County.
