CHEYENNE, WYOMING - The Gunbarrel Fire burning between Cody and Yellowstone National Park has forced the evacuation of a guest ranch. Officials are warning that high winds will likely create red flag conditions.

Debbie Millard is one of the owners of the Elephant Head Lodge, about 10 miles east of Yellowstone. She says that all the guests have left the lodge. She says only seven employees and owners remain there.

The fire has burned more than 55,000 acres. Crews are working to protect cabins and other structures. Fire officials say the fire will likely continue to burn in the area until snow begins to fall later in the year.
