GREAT FALLS - Opheim High School senior Jeff Greenwood is in a class by himself, literally. He will be the only student to graduate from Opheim High Friday night.

Governor Schweitzer is scheduled to give the commencement address at the 6 p.m. ceremony. Schweitzer says he doesn't have a speech planned, but will offer a few encouraging words to Greenwood, who plans to attend Dickinson State University in North Dakota.

Principal Leroy Nelson says he expects 100 to 200 people to attend. Nelson says single-graduate classes will likely become more common, as more rural schools experience enrollment drops. Froid High School had one graduate last year. Schweitzer spoke at her graduation, as well.
