Cheyenne tightens gas rules

CHEYENNE, WYOMING - In response to soaring gas prices, the city of Cheyenne will alter rules for use of city owned vehicles. Cheyenne Mayor Jack Spiker said city employees who drive government vehicles home will be paying higher fuel charges for their commute starting July 1.

The charges are based on the distance between work and their homes. Police officers will be excluded from the higher charge.
