ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING - Police and criminal justice students had a blast during a training exercise in Rock Springs.

Bomb technicians used 10 pounds of explosives and four gallons of gasoline to blow up a Honda at a landfill on Saturday. Firefighters put out the flames, then police and criminal justice students got to work gathering evidence. That evidence will be used during a mock trial next month.

Students took part in the exercise through the Homeland Security Training Program at Western Wyoming Community College.
