MOOSE, WYOMING - Roads in Grand Teton National Park are scheduled to begin closing for the winter season on Wednesday. The Teton Park Road will close between Taggart Lake and Signal Mountain Lodge. Also, the Moose-Wilson Road will close between Granite Canyon and Death Canyon.
In addition, the Moose, Moran and Granite Canyon entrance stations will close until the start of winter season December 19th. Plowing of the Teton Park Road will stop after Thursday.
As long as the road is free of snow, park officials say visitors are welcome to use it for walking, bicycling and inline skating. The road will be open for skiing and snowshoeing after snow accumulates.
