CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A kayaker is missing at Glendo State Park.

Gary Schoene (SHAY'-nee) is spokesman for the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources. He says the 21-year-old Cheyenne man was reported missing at about 11 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities aren't releasing the man's name yet.

Schoene says the man went out in a kayak after 9 p.m. Sunday to try to retrieve a pontoon boat that had drifted away. The man was in the southeastern part of Glendo, near the dam. Water conditions were choppy at the time.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
