Wyoming law enforcement gears up for Labor Day

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers will be out in force over the coming holiday weekend to enforce laws against drunken driving.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the public to know that state troopers will be participating in "Operation CARE." The nationwide effort stands for "Combined Accident Reduction Effort."

Wyoming troopers will be working to crack down on drunken drivers to reduce the number of fatalities during the holiday. Troopers will be conducting saturation patrols at night at places where alcohol-related crashes are most likely.
