Dillon man gets 2 years for having child porn

BUTTE - A 26-year-old Dillon man who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography has been sentenced to two years in prison.

Law enforcement officers seized Cory Martinez' laptop computer in October 2008, and an FBI investigation determined there were 34 video and image files of suspected child porn on the hard drive.

About 50% of the files appeared to show prepubescent minors. Martinez acknowledged he started looking at pornographic images of young girls in July 2005. He will be supervised for 10 years after he is released from prison.

he was free until caught, he was unsupervised for 3 years, he had the restraint to not go to children, so i think he deserves 2 years

This guy only gets 2 years for having child porn. I think they should chop off a certain body part. This guy is a child molester waiting to happen.We need to change some laws so people like this can not be around our children ever!
