POPLAR - Law enforcement officers from several agencies arrested three dozen people in a drug bust on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation.

Roosevelt County Sheriff Freedom Crawford says the drug bust included more than 50 officers from his agency, the Fort Peck Tribal Police and the Wolf Point Police Department.

Crawford says an investigation into suspected illegal sales of prescription pills began last April. He says drugs being resold included oxycontin, hydrocodone and morphine.

He says though 36 people were arrested Monday, all expected to be arraigned in tribal court this week, investigators believe the number of prescription pill dealers in the region is in the hundreds.

Three comments. What dose Rush Limbaugh have to do with this article? Anonymous chill out. When are we going to abolish the Reservations?

Have my posts been rejected? I don't know the site won't tell me. Have my posts been lost in cyber-space? I don't know. Are my posts sitting in some sort of limbo waiting to "be accepted"? It's impossible to tell. Why do some post go up instantly and others hours later? Who knows. It's the 21st century KULR8 the technology exists to do this site right if you want to.

People passing these drugs around are creating addiction and even deaths. OxyContin is legal heroin. What do you do with heroin dealers--there is no difference. Steve http://novusdetox.com

KMS- You should ask Rush Limbaugh what the appeal is, he's been going off the rails with his gravy brain for a long time. Meth has it's up sides I suppose which is why they give a form of it to Air Force pilots, Special Forces personnel and prescribe it to children as young as three. What do you think fueled the blitz krieg (lightening war) of the Nazi takeover of Europe. The Montana Meth Project doesn't tell you the whole story.

I never understood pill poppers- I'm on a chronic pain regimen, and I HATE when my brain feels like gravy, but it's a necessary evil in my case. Why would they willingly want that? It's like meth- why would you want to do a drug that makes your teeth fall out, makes you disassemble everything you own, and to scratch your own skin off?
