Hundreds gather in Mont. town for anti-hate rally

BOZEMAN - Hundreds of people took part in a march and rally against hate in Bozeman, part of an effort to counteract a much smaller white supremacy demonstration held a few weeks ago.

The Hate Free Bozone march and rally on Sunday was organized by the group Bozeman United. Mayor Kaaren Jacobson, Montana Human Rights Network Executive Director Travis McAdam, local religious leaders and others spoke to the crowd, advocating tolerance and telling the hate group Creativity Movement that it was not welcome in the region.

McAdams said only eight Creativity Movement members gathered for a pro-white demonstration in October, while hundreds of residents turned out for Sunday's anti-hate march.
