Arson investigated in fatal house fire

KALISPELL - Flathead County officials say a 52-year-old man has died in a trailer house fire in Evergreen and the blaze is being investigated as a possible arson.

The fire in Evergreen, near Kalispell, was reported at about 8:15 a.m. Monday.

Sgt. Jim Browder, who is also a deputy coroner, identified the victim as Rodney A. Nelson.

Browder says the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Flathead County arson investigation team and the sheriff's department.
