HELENA - A 32-year-old Helena man who was critically injured in a fight outside a bar has died of his injuries.

Travis Ehret died Tuesday morning at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, according to Lewis and Clark County Coroner Mickey Nelson. Ehret was injured in a fight at a west end bar on June 19.

Sheriff Leo Dutton says Ehret got mad when he arrived at the bar and found his girlfriend playing pool with another man. Ehret challenged others to fight.

Ehret, 30-year-old Jesse Surburgg and others fought twice in the parking lot. Surburgg was arrested on a probation violation on June 20, but Dutton says no further charges have been filed.
