KALISPELL - A Cajun shrimp burger on the menu at The Cutting Board restaurant in Eureka has won a grilling contest sponsored by "Live! with Regis and Kelly."

James Monroe's "Bubba Burger" was voted the best in the show's Ultimate Hometown Grill Off. Monroe and his wife, Marsha, will fly to New York City where Monroe is scheduled to prepare his burger on Friday's show.

The Bubba Burger is a mesquite-fired patty topped with spicy Cajun sausage, jumbo shrimp, chipotle sauce and cheddar cheese. Monroe says he invented it one night with food left over in the kitchen when he was hungry because he hadn't eaten all day.

Eureka resident Gary DeLorenzo says the Bubba Burger is excellent, unique, juicy and has a lot of flavor. "You need a couple of napkins to eat it," he said.
