GREAT FALLS - A 48-year-old woman who was shot four times earlier this month has been released from the hospital.

Diana Livingston left Benefis Health System on Friday, where she had been treated since the Oct. 3 shooting. Witnesses say Livingston's estranged husband, Andrew Livingston, shot her four times, at least twice in the head, outside a cafe in Grass Range. He then got into his truck and shot himself in the head. He died at the scene.

Bill Plouffe, pastor of the Grass Range Community Christian Fellowship Church, says Livingston is able to walk and talk. He called her recovery a miracle. Fergus County officials say Diana Livingston and her husband had recently separated and she had a restraining order against him.
