HELENA - A man was killed and a female passenger injured in a pickup truck crash on Interstate 15 just south of Montana City.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the Dodge pickup was northbound about 7:45 p.m. Sunday when it slid off the highway, rolled down an embankment and ejected the driver. His name hasn't been released. The passenger, who remained in the pickup, was taken to the hospital in Helena.

Trooper Jeramy Rice says road conditions from the snowstorm likely contributed to the crash.
