McALLISTER - Authorities say at least one man was killed after he drove his car off a dirt road and plummeted 20 feet into Ennis Lake.

The man's name wasn't released. He went off the road at about 1 p.m. Thursday, a mile north of Ennis Lake Bridge. Shawn Christensen is chief of the Madison Valley Rural Fire District. He says the vehicle landed upside down in about 18 feet of water. It was unclear Thursday evening whether anyone else was in the vehicle.
