MISSOULA - A 46-year-old Missoula man has been charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs after police said he sold morphine pills to an informant while his 3-year-old daughter waited in the car.

Thomas E. Redmond was also charged Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child. Bail was set at $100,000. Redmond is on parole for a 1985 attempted murder conviction. He was arrested Tuesday.

Prosecutors accuse Redmond of selling seven morphine pills to a confidential informant for $200 last month and then selling another 15 pills to the informant for $450 on Tuesday. Redmond's wife, Johna Redmond, also was charged with felony drug possession after detectives went to their house and discovered a bottle containing prescription narcotics.
